The information that we collect will be used to contact or identify you. To manage the Society effectively and to communicate with its members, the Society must store and process their personal information. The information may have been provided directly by you, or it may be derived from records presently held by the Society, its regions or its branches.

 

Member records are not released to any other organization without your consent, unless we are required to do so by law, other than to distribute Society materials such as Newsletters or Society Accounts and Reports.  In this case, your name and address may be provided on a confidential basis to a mailing house.  It should also be noted that the names, addresses and contact information for officials of the Society may be shown on the members’ area of the Society’s website and in its publications.

 

We may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our website. Your IP address may be used to gather broad demographic information.  This site has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.  This site may contain links to other sites but we are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites.

Visitors to the website may be asked for contact information which may be forwarded to our regions and branches so they may contact you.  You may opt-out of receiving future mailings as described below.

The Society may contact you from time to time by mail, phone, fax or e-mail, to inform you of events and services which may be of interest to you.
